IREDELL COUNTY - A 16-year-old student at North Iredell High School is facing disorderly conduct charges after shouting profanities and making obscene gestures at North Iredell Middle School.
Deputy T. Lewis, the middle school resource officer, said the bus Jared Lance Corder, of Statesville, rides stops to pick up other students at the middle school.
On Tuesday, Lewis said Corder got off of the bus, ran toward other students at the middle school, started making offensive gestures at the school bus and cursing loudly. Lewis escorted Corder to the Principal's office to calm him down. Corder continued to curse and was very disrespectful to Lewis and office staff. Lewis issued Corder a citation for disorderly conduct and released him to his parents.
